Isaacs Trip!!

Isaac is so beautiful

So I had my 5 days of bliss with my Grandson. He is the cutest thing anyone can imagine. I know I am bias but really he is just so cute you want to eat him up!! I did learn how quickly he can wear you out though,....lol He is a figity little guy, always has to be movin. :) There was such a sadness when he left though that it makes it very difficult. I wanted to hold him forever!! I am just so afraid that he wont know who I am as he grows older. I can only hope that we can keep the visits going and so eventually he will look forward to coming to Nonnies house. Anyhow I had a really nice time with both of them and I look forward to a little rest and then hopefully soon I will have another time to look forward to with seeing him. The only baby I can say that is as beautiful as him was Brandie when she was a baby...lol they look so much like each other when they were babies, its scary. Anyhow, everything else is ok. NONNIE LOVES YOU ISAAC!!!!! SO MUCH!!!!! I'll have some pics from his trip up as soon as I ca get them uploaded.

Brandie & Isaac are Coming!

Well tomorrow is the day. I get to hold and love my grandson again for a few days anyhow. I have missed him so much. I also get to spend some time with Brandie which I think will be really nice. I miss her being here as well. I have to go home today and start making sauce and meatballs so we can have a nice dinner tomorrow night and since this is also Michaels Birthday Dinner, have to get him a cake too!! Anyhow, I am pretty excited about seeing them and hope their trip here is really nice. I love them so much and I miss them terribly.

GO BARACK OBAMA

Jim and I attended the Barack Obama Rally yesterday at Cashman Field and it was so much fun! I have never been to anything like this before and the upbeat spirit was all over. We felt so proud to be an american and I had goosebumps throughout the entire event. Even when obama wasnt there yet people were cheering, they were all dressed in red, white & blue and music was playing. It was alot of fun. We bought T-Shirts and we really felt like we were at a part of history in the making. Someday I can tell Isaac about it and he will say "Yeah that was back in your day, Nonnie" :) but it was just very interesting and no matter the party, I would definitely go to this kind of event again. I learned alot and I saw kids (19-20) year olds excited and being a part of the polital process which was really nice to see. Jim & I volunteered to help out so I am sure I'll get a call to help but I am excited about helping in any way I can. Weather or not you are Democrat or Republican, you should really get involved!! Its alot of fun and you learn a great deal.

UPDATE

Well, not much is happening lately. Just working and relaxing. I get so darn tired after work. I am getting excited about seeing Brandie & Isaac!!!! I cant wait till he is here and I can spoil him for 5 days!! We are also getting ready to fly to NY in June. Jims son James will be graduating High School and although it is a long way away, we have to begin preparing with flights and hotels. I love shopping in New York City more than any place in the world!! Its only Sept now but before you know it we'll be off to NY. Michaels been hanging out with us alot and Grama came over on Sunday and watched football and had dinner with us. It was nice to see her. Anyhow, not much to report. I just wanted to update my page. I'll update more if anything exciting happens!! lol....
